Ascension Leadership Movement (ALM)
The Ascension Leadership Movement was launched in January, 2008 when the Pastoral Council, as part of a reworking of the parish organizational structure, invited parishioners to help discern parish goals. Since then, ALM has served as a means of maintaining and encouraging parish vitality. It supports parish leadership development and creates a forum for parishioners to gather in community and prayer periodically throughout the year. The group further addresses issues of planning, communication, or concern for the Parish. ALM encourages participation by all parishioners in all aspects of parish life by extending personal invitations to attend the meetings and by facilitating opportunities for parishioner involvement. If you have questions about ALM, please contact Vicky Tufano or Kevin Duff.

In January 2009, Sister Theresa Byrne spoke at the ALM meeting on the subject of the spirituality of parish leadership. Sister Theresa asked, "Are you traveling to God or traveling with God?" Sister Theresa gave the audience much food for thought and recommended books for individual or group investigation.
