Scouting at Ascension

Boy Scouts
Sponsored by the Men's Club, these programs, Tiger/Cub/Boy Scouts, offer boys 6-18 years old, an opportunity to learn responsibility, citizenship and how to work with others.

Cub Scouts
Cub Scouts, a non-profit organization that offers a program for boys "designed to achieve objectives in character development, citizenship training, and mental and physical fitness. With strong adult leadership, members are guided to develop the traits of character, self-reliance, consideration of and help to others, personal courage, and citizenship."

Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts provide a time for girls to get together to socialize and to participate in community work. Individual troops take part in different community service jobs, such as picking up litter around church, planting flowers in the Spring, buying presents at Christmas time for families at St. Martin DePorres, visiting nursing homes and making presents for the Ronald McDonald House.
